Beetlejuice Re-Release Poster

This was an assignment for a "Type & Design" class. I had to pick a movie and redo the poster as if it was being re-released in 2008.

When researching this, I was surprised to find that there was only one poster ever released for this movie with Beetlejuice sitting on the house and everyone surrounding him. They did not even change it for the blu-ray cover that came out recently.

So I thought to myself if it was about using that same poster, I could still modify it into something better. I made it more into a graphic poster and changed the color of his tie to pink. I also cropped it and removed traces of the house he was sitting on.

I changed the tie color from purple to pink because I thought people from my generation would remember the cartoon version of him. ^_^

Any comments or helpful criticism are extremely appreciated.



(By the way, Beetlejuice and anything related to that franchise belong to their respectful copyright owners such as Warner Brothers [not me] and thus I am just using his image for fun. ^_^
